New Chipmunk Movie
Oh yes...oh yes! Alvin and the Chipmunks are releasing a new LIVE-ACTION film for Christmas!! Yee HAW!!! They've even done a soundtrack with new songs and new versions of old favorites. I am stoked for this. The trailer came on during one of the holiday specials and I made my kids watch it three or four times. Did I mention that Dave is being played by Jason Lee? No? Well, he is. How awesome is that?!I love the chipmunks. Love 'em. "Chipmunks Go Hollywood" and "Chipmunk Punk" were two of my favorite albums as a kid. I still think their version of "Frustrated" rivals the Knack...and I love the Knack. If you don't like "E.T. and Me," you aren't a human.

I saw a poster for this earlier in the year and just sighed. I was thinking how another director was going to butcher a beloved cartoon from my youth.
I just saw the trailers for it and now I am as excited as you. I am actually looking forward to seeing it now.
